We are currently seeking a self-motivated, professional individual to join our team as a LOAN OPERATIONS SPECIALIST.

The individual selected for this position will play a key part in ensuring our loan portfolio continues to grow by assisting our loan team by maintaining the health of our existing loan portfolio. This position will report directly to the Director of Funeral Home Lending.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Funeral Home Lending in processing and closing new loans.
  • Utilize loan and workflow software.
  • Review and process loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect and apply payments.
  • Ensure loan covenant items are received and documented.
  • Monitor loan maturities and renewals.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis and review financial statements.
  • Provide administrative support to the loan team as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized loan files.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of previous loan support experience or a bachelor’s degree (finance preferred).
  • Proficient knowledge and extensive use of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using workflow software preferred.
  • Experience using loan administration software preferred.
  • Experience reading and analyzing financial statements preferred.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain key relationships with loan clients and vendors.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation to complete tasks.
  • Adaptable to change and willingness to incorporate new ideas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
